1. Deliveries

Please note that from 9th June, we have for the time being, paused our online delivery of clearance products.  Any outstanding online customers are being contacted to discuss the possible options.  We apologise for any inconvenience but this situation is entirely beyond our control.

We use a 3rd party delivery company – DHD (Direct Home Delivery) – to deliver our online orders direct to almost all UK mainland locations. DHD provide a 2-man ‘white glove’ service, at a time and date to suit you. This service includes delivery to your room of choice, basic assembly (see 1.3 ‘The process’) and removal of packaging for recycling.

Before you buy, we recommend that you check that your chosen furniture will fit through hallways and doorways into your home, and into the desired room.  On the day of delivery, make sure the route of the furniture from the delivery van is safe and clear, put down protective material such as sheets on the floors if desired (drivers cannot remove boots or use covers due to health and safety concerns), and clear space in the room for your new items. If DHD are unable to access the property or find it unsafe for drivers to deliver, they may refuse to deliver and a re-delivery may incur an additional charge to you.

1.2 Charges

All online orders can be delivered at a charge of £60 per order which will be added to your basket at checkout (unless you choose to collect), which will include all the extras detailed in section 1.1.

If the delivery is cancelled when already on route, rebooking for an alternate date will incur a redelivery charge, the value of which will depend on the location and size of the order.

If your order is amended or cancelled within 48 hours of the delivery date, an admin or restocking fee may apply – please refer to our Returns and Refunds Policy for details. Similarly, if you cannot agree on a delivery date within 21 working days of DHD making initial contact, a storage fee of between £5 and £10 a week (depending on the size of order) will become applicable.

1.3 The Process

Once you have placed your order online with us, we will process it and arrange delivery from our warehouse to your closest DHD hub, usually within 1-2 weeks.

Within 24 hours of DHD having received your goods from us, their customer services team will contact you, and talk you through a simple delivery survey designed to ensure correct delivery details & vehicle allocation. DHD will offer you a choice of delivery dates, and AM/PM time slots. You will receive an email confirmation of your delivery slot, including a tracking number for your order.

Approximately 1hr before delivery, your DHD driver will contact you to confirm that an adult will be present at the address, and will deliver to your room of choice, unpack the item, provide basic assembly and remove all packaging for recycling. Please note that ‘basic assembly’ refers to putting legs on tables etc, unfortunately, we cannot offer more complicated assembly at this time, so please note before ordering whether an item such as a wardrobe requires more extensive assembly. Failed deliveries may incur a redelivery charge.

Once the item is delivered please check the goods and make sure that it is the item(s) you have ordered, and also make sure that you check for damages. If you find any damages on the item(s) or the packaging please note the issue down on the delivery note before you sign, and contact our showroom who will assist you.

1.4 Lead Times

Lead times may vary depending on stock availability, delivery to a DHD hub and their first offered date for delivery to yourself. We would advise that under normal circumstances a delivery slot should be made available to you within 2-4 weeks from your order being processed. This timeframe may be subject to change and we will update this section accordingly.

At this current time, the Covid-19 situation has halted any transport from our Bideford site, meaning onward delivery of orders will be subject to unavoidable delay until normal operations are resumed.

Some postcodes may require an extended delivery time due to location, such as Scotland.


2. Collections

Collections can be arranged from our Bideford warehouse if better suited, select ‘collection’ at checkout and check that you are not charged for delivery. Once the order has been processed our showroom will contact you to arrange a collection date, which will be subject to usual opening hours.

At this current time, our showroom remains closed to prevent the spread of Covid-19.  We can process your online order remotely however physical collection from our premises will need to be postponed until we return to work.  We will update this page to reflect any changes in this respect.
